These are my thoughts that may or may not be coincident with those of the Free Brighton Project in general.

About Free Brighton
Free Brighton is a broad campaign based on the idea that people should not be forced into conforming to particular social norms.
I am very much in favour of "keeping it real", and will avoid confusing jargon... primarily because I do not know any. I am not from the political sphere, and have found myself involved in this project due to the increasingly stifling environment that I find myself within.
We are witnessing the decline of the free-thinker, the harmless British Eccentric, the inventor, the underdog and the peaceful urban warrior. It is futile relying upon government to sort this out. It is up to us.
We are fighting for:
- An infrastructure that actually supports us, rather than telling us what to do.
- A humane society that offers comfort blankets to the needy, rather than strait jackets to the creative.
- A world where people have a truly free choice about how they live their lives.
- A free-thinking world that supports innovation.
