December 2009
- The council encourages us to "get involved" (http://www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/index.cfm?request=c1217734) - I wonder how many people were involved in the decision to impose draconian bans on drinking, leafleting, live music etc
- Time wasted in Lily Allen smoke ban probe [1].
- The fun police protect our hearing by enforcing limits on volumes for MP3 players. Thank goodness! Except of course that nobody seems to have told them that different types of headphones are "louder" than others, so setting a decibel limit is meaningless. In addition, The EU seem to have ignored the fact that different people have different hearing abilities.
